SA&H announces new stage acts for Smoky Hill River Festival

Salina Arts & Humanities announces the addition of several acts new to Festival stages for Smoky Hill River Festival 2020.

The festival is scheduled for June 11-14 in Oakdale Park.

Among the music acts set to debut at River Festival 2020 are:

SunDub, an inventively collaborative mix of New York City musicians, offers a classic reggae repertoire peppered with soul and funk selections. www.sundubmusic.com

Jarabe Mexicano, based in San Diego, invites audiences on a joyride through a versatile songbook of Mexican folk as well as rock ’n’ roll, Tex-mex, Latin rock, and reggae-cumbia. www.jarabemexicano.com

Kyshona is a music therapist gone rogue currently based in Nashville. She has a natural gift for using music to tap into emotion. Audiences will find common threads of overcoming, hope, and empowerment in her songwriting and storytelling. www.kyshona.com

Marcus Lewis Quintet, with Lewis’ legendary trombone skills and his crew of skilled musicians from Kansas City, Mo., delivers modern jazz to the Smoky Hill River Festival. www.marcuslewis.net

The Hooten Hallers’ live shows take listeners on a seamless ride from unapologetically raucous blues to sweet three-part country harmony to romping dance numbers. The group tours worldwide from Columbia, Mo. www.thehootenhallers.com

The Smoky Hill River Festival hours are June 11 from 4 to 10 p.m., June 12-13 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and June 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is by festival wristband. Wristbands are $15 each in advance or $20 at the gate. Daily wristbands for $10 are available same-day at two select entrance gates. Children ages 11 and younger get in free. Wristbands go on sale May 1 at more than 40 Salina locations and in 17 regional locations.
