Salina City Commissioner Rod Franz plans to meet with constituents over a cup of coffee.
Franz has announced that he is inviting residents to meet with him and chat informally at monthly coffee events in local coffee shops and restaurants.
The first in a series of drop-in coffee events is scheduled for 2-3 p.m., Saturday at Ad Astra Books & Coffee House, 141 North Santa Fe Avenue.
Franz said he will provide coffee to all attendees. Individuals may drop in any time during the hour.
“All residents are invited to stop by and chat about whatever is on their minds,” Franz said.
