
There's a new group in town to help people with Parkinson's Disease and their caretakers.
Punchin' Out Parkinson's Central Kansas will have a ribbon-cutting event from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at 600 East Elm Street. The event is open to the public.
According to information from the organization, Punchin' Out Parkinson's Central Kansas is a group of trained and certified professionals eager to help those with Parkinson’s Disease and their caretakers. Multiple programs to include Rock Steady Boxing, education, support groups, yoga, and other programs geared to help those fighting this horrific disease.
