Salina Police are investigating an incident in which eggs damaged a pickup's paint.

Christopher Hendrix, 45, of Salina, reported to authorities that sometime between 6 p.m. on Wednesday and 9 a.m. on Saturday, someone threw eggs at his black 2007 Toyota Tundra while it was parked in the 300 block of Hartland Avenue, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning.

The cost to repaint the pickup is estimated at $1,000, he said.
