We made it through the frigid mid-week temperatures!

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita, above normal temperatures are expected across most of the area this weekend, especially tomorrow when temperatures in the mid to upper 50s are expected.

The 50s are expected to last through Monday. On Tuesday, the high is expected to drop to near 40, with highs in the 39 to 49 range through Friday, NWS noted.

There is a 20-percent chance for rain on Monday, with a light north wind becoming north-northwest at 9 to 14 mph in the afternoon, according to the NWS forecast. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph. Additionally, there is a slight chance of rain, mixing with snow after 10 p.m., then gradually ending on Monday night.
