Bonnie Robins

Bonnie Robins, 88, Minneapolis, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. Bonnie was born Loretta LaVone Trow on November 28, 1931 to John Leroy and Edna Agnes (Garren) Trow in Bennington, Kansas.

She married Robert R. Robins on October 2, 1947, in Minneapolis. To this union were born three sons. John Leroy, Joseph Calvin, and Robert Yale. Bob passed away November 22, 1996.  Bonnie married her second husband, Jay L. Wagner, on September 9, 2006. He passed away on December 27, 2006.

Bonnie loved the Lord and had great faith. She truly loved her family with all her heart. They were her pride and joy. She also loved her church family and her great neighbors.

Those who preceded her in death include her parents; her infant son, Robert Yale; her husband Robert; second husband Jay; brothers Roland, Leo, and Calvin Trow; sister-in-law Phyllis Trow; and daughter-in-law Margaret Robins.

Bonnie leaves behind sons John and Joe (Deb) Robins; grandchildren Ericka (Martin) Agebrand and Chris (Marla) Robins; great-grandchildren Emma and Noah Agebrand and Paige (Felipe Contreras) and Casey Robins; great-great-grandson Elian Contreras; sister-in-law Hilga Trow; brother-in-law Terry (Wanda) Robins; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 15 at the First United Methodist Church, Minneapolis.  Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis.  Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Friday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ottawa County Health Center or Hospice of Salina and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, 405 Argyle Ave, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
