Saline County Commissioners are scheduled to consider a variety of items during their two meetings Tuesday.
The regular meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. in room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 West Ash Street. A time for public comment is scheduled near the beginning of the meeting.
Commissioners are scheduled to consider a request for them to proclaim February as Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Courtney Train, youth advocate mentor for DVACK, is scheduled to present the proclamation request.
Other items on the county agenda include the following.
Consider an Affordable Language Services Agreement --Jason Tiller, health department director
Consider a request for a tractor trailer haul truck -- Darren Fishel, road and bridge administrator
Hear a pre-trial stats update -- Andrew Pellant, pre-trial coordinator, community corrections
Consider a hazardous materials emergency preparedness grant -- Michelle Barkley, emergency management director
Hear County Administrator Phillip Smith-Hanes' update
At the conclusion of the meeting, the commissioners are scheduled to meet in a study session in room 107B of the City-County Building. The agenda for the study session is as follows.
