An upcoming Black History Month presentation will look at the history and impact of housing segregation in the United States.
The presentation is scheduled to include a Land of Opportunity viewing, a story of integration and the fight for housing rights across the United States following the Great Depression. The documentary was created by Nico Wiggins, who also narrates the video. A discussion will follow. Food is to be provided.
The event will take place on Feb. 27 from 6-8 p.m. at the Salina Art Center, 242 South Santa Fe Avenue.
