Debra S. Shank, 66, Bennington, loving wife of Ralph Shank, passed away Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020, at her home. Debra was born Nov. 21, 1953, in Norfolk, Neb., to Marilyn and Louis Ahlers.

Debra is survived by her husband, Ralph, of rural Bennington; her mother and father; five children; two stepchildren; five siblings; 14 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son.

Debra had three devotions in her life: her husband, her antiques and her faith in God. Debra retired from owning Deb's Antiques and Embroidery in Minneapolis, Kan., in 2019 due to health issues. She loved her customers and her business but was unable to continue as she wished. Her second devotion was to Ralph. They shared a lot of the same interests and passions; it was a bond that — in the end — could not be broken.

There will be a Celebration of Life ceremony at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, Feb. 22, at First Presbyterian Church, 102 E. Second St., Minneapolis.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina, 730 Holly Lane, Salina, KS 67401.
