Police are looking for a known suspect after a car, wallet, and cellphone turned up missing in west Salina.
Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning that Hollie Ruiz, 43, of Salina, reported to police at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday that between 8:30-9 p.m. Tuesday, a male acquaintance had visited her residence in the 1300 block of Franklin Street. She told police that after the male left, she couldn't find her cellphone and thought she had left it in her car, however when she went to look in her 2005 Saturn Vue, she discovered it was missing as well, Forrester said. Additionally, her wallet was missing, he said.
The dark gray Vue, valued at $1,700, has a Kansas license tag of 989 GPF, Forrester said. The suspect is described as being a white male approximately 35 years of age, he said.
