SALINA — Law enforcement authorities are investigating suspects involved in a chase and crash in Salina following an armed robbery in Newton.
At 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to an armed robbery at E-Z Trip Convenience Store, 100 S. Main in Newton, according to a social media report from police.
Two men had entered the store, armed with firearms. Multiple shots were fired in the store by at least one of the suspects. The store clerk was not injured.
