2021 budget, executive session among county agenda items

A planning and zoning update, an executive session, and the initial 2021 budget discussion are among the items on the Saline County Commission agenda for Tuesday.

The regular meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday in room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 West Ash Street. A time for public comment is scheduled near the beginning of the meeting.

Commissioners are scheduled to hear a planning and zoning update from Tim Hamilton, planning and zoning administrator.

Additionally, commissioners are scheduled to discuss with Marilyn Leamer, human resources director, the following.

Policy 40.15 Expense of Travel for County Business

Policy 40.27b Saline County Drug and Alcohol Testing

County Administrator Phillip Smith-Hanes also will provide his update.

Immediately following the meeting, the commissioners are scheduled to meet in a study session in room 107B of the City-County Building. The agenda for the study session is as follows.

Meet in executive session: Confidential data exception for 30 minutes with Mitch Robinson, executive director, Salina Community Economic Development Organization, Inc.

Have a 30-minute initial discussion concerning the 2021 budget.
