We're kicking off February with a beautiful weather weekend, but colder weather and a chance for snow are looming in the near future.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita, high temperatures Sunday are expected to be more than 20 degrees above normal as most locations top out around 70 degrees.
Temperatures will begin cooling down Monday, with highs expected in the 40s. Tuesday and Wednesday will be much colder with chances of light snow across the region, NWS noted.
