Salina Police were called to a south Salina motel early this morning for the report of a domestic incident.
According to Salina Police Captain Gary Hanus, officers were dispatched to the Rodeway Inn and Suites, 3932 South Ninth Street, at 4:43 a.m. Thursday after a bloodied female guest ask a motel employee to call the police.
The 31-year-old Salina woman said she had been strangled and beaten about the face, Hanus said. She had injuries consistent with her report, he added.
James Anderton, 28, of Salina, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery, Hanus said.
