Joyce Billings

Joyce Billings, 83, passed away Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020. She was born in Dodge City to Jack and Beulah Porter.

Joyce was an active member at the First Church of the Nazarene where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school, was a youth leader, and children’s church worker. She was a member of T.O.P.S, bowling and volleyball leagues, Meals on Wheels, and loved to travel the world. Joyce will be remembered most of all as a loving grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and setting a Christian example for her family.

Joyce is survived by: her husband of 65 years, Larry Billings; children, Rodney Billings (Joyce, Lance Billings (Susan, and Kimberly Fox (John) all of Salina; grandchildren, Mindy Temple (Mike, Adam Booher, Alyssa Mitchell (Jack, Danae Hilliard (Justin, Andrea Kilsch (Josh, Daniel Fox (Amanda, Rachel Reynolds (Nathan, Kyle Fox (Haley, Ryan Fox, Logan Billings, and Peyton Billings; great-grandchildren, Tyler and McKenzie Billings, Jordan, Leah, and Noah Kilsch, Finn and Margot Temple, Remy and Smith Hilliard, Alanna, Alivia and Amelia Fox, Delaney, Georgia and Faye Reynolds, Larry Mitchell, Kaden Fox, and baby Kolden Fox on the way. She was preceded in death by: her son, Brent Billings; grandson, Bradley Billings; great-granddaughter, Adaline Mitchell; one brother; and five sisters.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1425 S. Ohio St., Salina, with burial following in Roselawn Cemetery. Memorials to the First Church of the Nazarene, in care of Ryan Mortuary.
