Doris E. Johnson-Conger, 84, passed Jan. 15, 2020 in Salina. She was born June 16, 1935, in Salina, to Joseph B. and Alberta L. (Hines) Hazelton.

She married Leonard W. Johnson, Sept. 2, 1951 until he passed away in 1976. To his union were born Michael, Kathleen, and Lisa. Doris married Lynn E. Conger in 1981 until he passed in 1995. She worked for USD #305 as a para-educator for more then 26 years making many friends.

Doris is survived by: her children, Michael Johnson, Kathleen Gurney (Gary, and Lisa Vogan (Leland); sister, Gaye Woods (David); grandchildren; Christopher Gurney, Sara Hammon, and Anna Marvin; and 11 great-great-children. Preceding her were husbands, Leonard and Lynn; sisters, Eunice, and Lillie; and grandchildren, Tracy, and Chadd.

Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina, with inurnment in Brookville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Heart Association.
