A severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect until 8:45 p.m. Wednesday for northwestern McPherson County.
At 8:06 p.m. CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located just west of Windom, or 10 miles west of McPherson, moving east at 20 mph.
60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail are expected.
