KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round of the AFC Playoffs on Sunday in Arrowhead Stadium.
Kickoff is slated for 2:05 p.m. CT.

Chiefs Commence Postseason on Sunday at Arrowhead
The first 50,000 fans to enter Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday will receive a commemorative 60th season Chiefs Kingdom flag, sponsored by Hy-Vee and CommunityAmerica Credit Union. Chiefs Kingdom flags will be distributed at all Arrowhead Stadium gates, while supplies last.
Winner of Season 9 of NBC’s The Voice, Jordan Smith, will perform Sunday’s national anthem, while representatives from the Kansas City, Kansas Fire Department present our nation’s colors.
A full-field American flag will be displayed on the Arrowhead Stadium playing surface during the performance of the national anthem, as 150 Chiefs Season Ticket Members and Chiefs Red Coaters hold the full-field flag. Weather permitting, four F/A-18 Hornets from Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach, Va., will perform a flyover at the conclusion of the national anthem.
Throughout the game, select former Chiefs players who were named to the NFL’s 100th Anniversary All-Time team will be recognized on the GEHA Drum Deck.
Traffic Alert: Road Construction Surrounding Arrowhead Stadium
All fans are reminded that MoDOT has commenced a multi-year construction project on sections of I-435 and I-70. Please be advised that there will be detours on game day at the I-435 and I-70 Interchange for travelers on Southbound I-435 toward Arrowhead Stadium. Parking Gates
Parking lot gates for Sunday’s game open at 9 a.m. Fans are encouraged to plan ahead and purchase passes in advance at chiefs.com/parking. Purchasing parking passes in advance is a more cost-effective method and can help expedite entry into the Arrowhead Stadium parking lots. Parking passes can be accessed via the Chiefs Mobile App on game day. Red Parking passes are $50 when pre-paid online at chiefs.com/parking and $60 cash only at the tollgates.
Stadium Gates
All Arrowhead Stadium gates will open at noon for the 2:05 p.m. kickoff. Gates for guests with tickets to the CommunityAmerica Club Level will open at 11:30 a.m.
Ford Tailgate District
The Ford Tailgate District will continue to be present at all Chiefs home games throughout the 2019 season. Located in Lot M outside of the Founder’s Plaza on the north side of the stadium, the free Ford Tailgate District features drink specials, food trucks, tailgating games and live entertainment leading up to kickoff of all Chiefs home games. The Ford Tailgate District will open at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday in Lot M.
Good Morning Football’s Kay Adams, along with NFL Network analysts Maurice Jones-Drew and Steve Smith Sr., will be present inside of the Ford Tailgate District on Sunday for the network’s NFL Gameday Morning program. The 7-foot-tall Patrick Mahomes bobblehead will also be present inside of the Ford Tailgate District on Sunday, granting fans the opportunity to take a photo with the special playoff figure.
GEHA Drum Deck
New in 2019, the club has introduced an exciting new space to add to the Arrowhead Stadium gameday experience, the GEHA Drum Deck. Located below the west scoreboard in the upper level, the GEHA Drum Deck is a new, permanent site for two gameday traditions – the Drum Honoree and the Tony DiPardo Spirit Leader. Five-time Pro Bowl selection for the Chiefs and former Kansas City LB Tamba Hali will serve as this week’s Drum Honoree and Kansas City native, actor and comedian Eric Stonestreet will be this week’s Tony DiPardo Spirit Leader.
Coach Marty Tuley and the YMCA Chiefs Wildhawks were champions of the local Kansas City YMCA FLAG Championships, punching their ticket to the NFL FLAG National Tournament in Orlando, Fla. The team will be recognized on the GEHA Drum Deck in the second half of Sunday’s game.
Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat
To help celebrate the franchise’s 60th season, the Kansas City Chiefs introduced the Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat at Arrowhead Stadium. For each home game in the 2019 season, the club selects one honoree who embodies the spirit of Lamar Hunt and represents the four pillars of the Chiefs Mission: Win with Character, Unite our Community, Inspire our Fans and Honor Tradition. The two gold seats are located in Section 121 of the lower bowl, symbolically positioned under Lamar Hunt’s name in the team’s Ring of Honor.
This week’s Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat honoree is Tom Kruse, Raymore-Peculiar H.S. Head Football Coach and Activities Director. Kruse, the 2004 and 2005 Chiefs High School Coach of the Year, is set to retire following the 2019-20 school year after 20 years of service to the school district. In his 20 seasons as the Ray-Pec Panthers Head Football Coach, Kruse’s teams accumulated three MSHSAA State Championships, one second-place finish and nine district titles. Kruse and Ray-Pec finished the 2019 season 10-3, winning the Missouri Class 6 District 4 title. Kruse’s dedication and service to the Raymore-Peculiar School District embodies Chiefs Founder Lamar Hunt’s vision of uniting our community. For his contribution, Kruse has been named this week’s Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat honoree.
Hunt Family Foundation 50/50 Raffle
Local youth educational programs will be this week’s Hunt Family Foundation 50/50 Raffle beneficiary. Tickets are three for $5 and 10 for $10, with a special playoff special of 100 tickets for $20.
Fans who are not at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday can also participate in the Hunt Family Foundation 50/50 Raffle by visiting chiefs.com/fans/5050raffle. Online sales are currently live, but fans must be located in the state of Missouri at the time they purchase a ticket online. The winning ticket will be announced during the fourth quarter of the game and winners do not need to be present to win. Raffle tickets will remain on sale through the end of the third quarter. A credit card option is now available at kiosks located inside the stadium. The winner has 30 days to redeem their ticket. The winning ticket will be announced in-stadium and at chiefs.com/fans/5050raffle.

Fans unable to attend Sunday’s game can tune in to KINA (910 AM and 107.5 FM) or 99KG (99.9 FM, the local home of the Chiefs Radio Network, as “Voice of the Chiefs” Mitch Holthus, former Chiefs LS Kendall Gammon and Chiefs Reporter BJ Kissel bring the action. The NFL on CBS crew of Jim Nantz, Tony Romo and Tracy Wolfson will be on the call for Sunday afternoon’s national broadcast. Westwood One’s crew of Kevin Kugler, Trent Green and James Laurinaitis will have a national radio production and Tico Sports will have a Spanish broadcast on La Mega 1160 AM and KPPZ 100.5 FM, featuring Enrique Morales, Oscar Monterroso and Hannah Bassham.
