No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash in central Salina Thursday afternoon.

The wreck occurred shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of South Fourth Street and East Republic Avenue, according to Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester.

Elizabeth Aills, 87, of Salina, was southbound on South Fourth Street in a 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass when she failed to stop at the stop sign and struck a 2012 Ford Fusion driven by Miguel Galvan, 17, of Salina, Forrester said.

Aills, Galvan, and Galvan's 16-year-old male passenger were not injured, Forrester said.

The Oldsmobile had damage to the front driver's side and the Ford had damage to the front, Forrester said. Both vehicles had to be towed, he added.

Aills was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign, Forrester said.
