A missing 88-year-old Salina man has been located and is safe.
On Wednesday, a silver alert was issued for Leonard Clayton McIver. McIver had last been heard from on Dec. 18.
An investigation by the Salina Police Department led to information that McIver was possibly in Wichita, according to a news release from the department. Today, McIver was located in Wichita and contacted by an officer with the Wichita Police Department. McIver was safe and in good health, according to Salina Police.
The release noted that the Salina Police Department would like to thank the public and the Wichita Police Department for their assistance in helping locate McIver.
