Reservations now being taken for Healthwise 55 luncheon

ABILENE -- Jeff Sanborn, Memorial Health System (MHS) Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Director, will be the guest speaker at the next Healthwise 55 luncheon.

He will speak on the topic of “Aquatics Therapy.”

The event will be on Jan. 16, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Nichols Education Center (lower level of the child care center, 1003 N. Brady, in Abilene. Please enter through the east door. The cost is $5 to cover the price of the meal. Please call Michelle McClanahan, MHS Director of Volunteer Services, at (785) 263-6692 by noon Friday to make a reservation.

Healthwise 55 is a luncheon and health information program hosted by the MHS Volunteer Corps. It is open to the public for individuals ages 55 and older. It includes a meal followed by a health care professional speaking on a health-related topic.
