
OCCK seeks an administrative support specialist in Salina.
Job responsibilities
Assisting the organization with secretarial duties and computer entry as assigned
Supporting staff with computer software needs
Assist in maintaining Case Records and persons served and family mailing lists
Assist with the implementation and completion of destruction of appropriate records
Assist in making all arrangements associated with outside staff development training including registration, lodging, and airline
Assist in maintaining agency mailing lists for newsletters, etc.
Responsible for sending and distributing fax mail
Assist staff in scheduling appointments/meetings
Answer telephones when receptionist takes breaks, goes to lunch, or is absent. Reception rotation, relay calls, and TDD calls
Provide clerical and organizational support for Team Leaders on an as-needed basis
Assist in emergency evacuation procedures as described in Safety Manual
Type supported employment-related contracts and associated correspondence
Participate in staff meetings and committee assignments as requested by the Office and Admin Support Manager
Complete special projects as requested by the Office and Admin Support Manager
Maintain and perform other duties as assigned by the Office and Admin Support Manager
Job qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have at least two years clerical experience.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must have strong working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Access and Excel.
Must have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Must meet the eligibility requirements of the auto insurance company providing
coverage for OCCK vehicles or have access to transportation.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Associates degree or certification in secretarial science, business administration, or a related field preferred.
