A 21-year-old Salina man has been arrested in connection to a case involving a 15-year-old girl.

Daniel Greer, 21, of Salina, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of the following, Salina Police Captain Gary Hanus said Thursday.

Aggravated indecent liberties with a child

According to Hanus, Greer allegedly touched the 15-year-old girl and deprived her of her cellphone. The incident allegedly occurred at Greer's residence in the 1000 block of East Ash between 6-8 p.m. Dec. 21, Hanus said. The girl does not live at the residence, but is an acquaintance of people who do, he said. The alleged incident was reported Tuesday by an acquaintance of the girl, Hanus added.
