
AdaMarie Blount, 87, of Salina, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019. She was born September 30, 1932 in Herington, Ks.
She worked for General Air Conditioning & Electrical for over 25 years as a bookkeeper. AdaMarie was a very active member in her Church, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Salina Food Bank, Blood Bank, VFW, and The Special Olympics.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamine and Thelma (Johnson) Castleberry; husband William “Bill” Blount; brother, LaVerne Castleberry.
Survivors include her children, Debbie Wilmoth (Jerry, Cindy Williams, and Linda Blount; brother in-law, Eugene Blount; grandchildren, Michael Thomas, Madison Thompson, Tyler Wilmoth (Chelsea, Jace Williams, Dana Wilmoth, and Adam Thompson.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 2-7pm with family from 5-7pm at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 East Crawford, Salina.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 3, 2020 at 1:00pm at First Christian Church, 2727 E. Crawford, Salina. Burial to follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery, 930 W. Burns Road, Herington, Ks 67449.
