
The National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita has issued a winter weather advisory for Ellsworth, Lincoln, and Saline counties.
The winter weather advisory is in effect until 7 p.m. Sunday.
Total snow accumulations around one inch are likely with up to two inches possible. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph are expected.
Hazardous driving conditions are expected as a result of the reduced visibility in occasional moderate snowfall. Sudden strong wind gusts can also be expected. Bridges and overpasses may become slick, especially toward and just after sunset. These conditions will affect travelers along Interstate 70.
