A two vehicle crash in front of the Mid-State Plaza Monday evening sent a 26-year-old Salina woman to the hospital.
Police Captain Paul Forrester said 51-year-old Audra Butler of Salina was northbound on South Ninth Street and turned left on Parkway in front of a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Leslie Bruno of Salina. Bruno's 2019 Chevy Trax struck the passenger side of the 2009 Ford Escape driven by Butler.
The impact of the crash rolled Butler's vehicle onto the driver's side.
Forrester said both drivers had to be extricated from the vehicles.
A passenger in the Bruno vehicle, Summer Lambert of Salina, was transported to the hospital with arm and head pain.
Butler was cited for failing to yield on a left turn. The wreck was reported at 7:40 p.m. to police. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
