Larry Dale Thomas, 55, of Dwight, Kansas, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019, at Stormont Vail Hospital.&nbsp; He was born December 24, 1963, the son of Dale and Hazel (Thompson) Thomas.&nbsp; Larry graduated from Council Grove High School.&nbsp; Throughout his lifetime, Larry was a truck driver and farmhand, working for various companies over the years. He was member of the Alta Vista Masons Lodge #357 and the Sons of the American Legion.&nbsp; Larry enjoyed various outdoor activities.

He was preceded in death by his father and sister Diana Thomas.

Larry is survived by his mother Hazel Thomas, of Council Grove; brother Jim Thomas and wife Luretta, of Dwight; nephew Joshua Thomas, of Wichita; nieces Christina Thomas and Hannah Thomas, of Emporia, Rachel Thomas and Deborah Thomas, of Dwight; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sawyer Funeral Home Wednesday, December 18, 2019, from 5:30 – 7:00.&nbsp; Graveside service will be at 2:00, Thursday, December 19th, at Dwight Cemetery.
