The winter storm warnings for our area have been canceled. Two winter weather advisories are in effect for counties in our area, however.
The National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita has issued a winter weather advisory in effect until 6 p.m. Monday for the following counties in our area.
Marion County
McPherson County
NWS is forecasting 2 to 3 inches of snow late tonight into Monday. Snow will expand in coverage after 4 to 5 am and persist through at least the early afternoon hours.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commute.
NWS in Topeka has issued a winter weather advisory in effect from 3 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday for Dickinson County.
Total snow amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected.
