It's almost time for the lighting of the mayor's Christmas tree!
The event is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Saturday in Robert Caldwell Plaza, located between the Salina Public Library and the City-County Building.
The brief ceremony will include a visit from Santa Claus, with free hot chocolate and candy canes, followed by the official lighting countdown with Salina Mayor Trent Davis.
