Terry Doty, 72, went to be with his creator and savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019. Terry was born Aug. 31, 1947 in Hood River, Ore., and lived in Salina most of his life, graduating from Salina Central High School.
He spent two years 67-68 with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He worked at Grain Belt Supply for eight years and retired from ADM Milling after 33 years. He was a member of the VFW Post 1432 and the American Legion. Terry gave his heart to Jesus Christ in 1999 and loved his church family as much as his extended family.
He is survived by: his wife, Donna; brother, James Doty of Apache Junction, Ariz.; sister-in-law, Greta Doty of Wichita; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his father, Raymond Doty and mother, Stella Doty; brother, Floyd Doty; sister, Norma Windholz; and nephew, Ronnie Doty.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11 at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th, Salina.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at Faith Bible Church, 2100 Quincy, Salina.
