Saline County plans to close part of Country Club Road to through traffic Friday morning for a railroad crossing replacement project.
According to information from the Saline County Road and Bridge Department, Country Club Road between Simpson Road and Holmes Road will close Friday morning. The project is expected to be completed Sunday night, the information noted.
Local and emergency traffic will be provided access to private property within the sections of closed road at all times but only from the side upon which the property lies. Because Country Club Road, at the railroad crossing, will be completely closed to traffic, a signed detour will be provided on Simpson Road, Crawford Road, and Holmes Road, according to the information from the road and bridge department.
