A sign regulations amendment, water and wastewater rates, and the downtown arts and entertainment ordinance are among the items on the Salina City Commission agenda for Monday.
Commissioners are scheduled to begin with a 2:30 p.m. study session in room 107B of the City-County Building, 300 West Ash Street. The topic of the study session is an overview of the downtown arts and entertainment ordinance. A time for public comment is scheduled for 3:45 p.m.
The regular meeting is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. in room 107 of the City-County Building. A time for public comment is scheduled near the beginning of the meeting.
Items on the regular meeting agenda include the following.
Hear the second reading of Ordinance No. 19-11020 amending Sections 42-503(l) and 42-504 of Salina’s sign regulations to clarify what types of signs are and are not allowed in the public right-of-way.
Consider Resolution No. 19-7772 establishing Water and Wastewater rates effective Jan. 1, 2020, in the comprehensive fee schedule of the City of Salina.
Consider Resolution No. 19-7777 authorizing the city manager to execute renewals of the Agreement to Provide Administrative Services for a self-funded health benefit plan and individual and aggregate stop-loss with BlueCross BlueShield of Kansas.
Consider Resolution No. 19-7778 authorizing the city manager to amend the Delta Dental of Kansas, Inc., agreement for dental care benefits effective Feb. 1, 2020.
