The Smoky Hill Museum is ready for the holidays. Salina Post photo

You’ll find plenty of holiday cheer at the Smoky Hill Museum free Holiday Open House, Saturday.

The annual event is scheduled for 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the museum, 211 West Iron Avenue.

All of your favorite elves will find something fun to do at the open house. Create a personalized Christmas card to mail to someone special, an ornament, and more!

Then stop a while, visit and take a picture with Pioneer Prairie Santa. What a wonderful keepsake!

Look for the “Letters to Santa,” enjoy the refreshments and 1950s Christmas music, shop at the museum store and more.

So mark your calendar for the upcoming Holiday Open House, with treats and fun for all ages.

The Smoky Hill Museum is a nationally accredited history museum, in the heart of downtown Salina. Admission is free and the museum is open Tuesday-Friday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
