SALINE COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 11a.m. Friday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 GMC Sierra 1500 driven by Andre Pacheco-Olivas, 24, Garden City, was westbound on I-70 just east of Solomon. The driver lost control of the vehicle and it struck bridge pillar.
EMS transported Pacheco-Olivas to the hospital in Salina. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
