If your Thanksgiving travel plans include a trip to Colorado or Nebraska, or even northwest Kansas, you should keep an eye on the weather.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) a winter storm is forecast to dump up to 18 inches of snow Tuesday through Wednesday morning across much of Colorado and Nebraska.
And while the storm is expected to track to our north, parts of northwest Kansas could see two to 12 inches of snow in that time period, NWS noted.

We also, however, have a chance for snow. According to NWS, winter travel conditions are possible for Wednesday night through early Thursday (Thanksgiving). Snow accumulations are possible across central Kansas, with travel impacts. A mixture of rain and snow is possible across southern Kansas.
As with all winter storms, conditions could change quickly, so stay up to date on weather conditions.
