MCPHERSON — Donna Opal Clapsaddle, 99, passed away Nov. 14, 2019 at The Cedars rest home in McPherson. She was born Jan. 23, 1920 in Gypsum. Donna attended school in Gypsum and graduated in 1938. She married William Clapsaddle, June 8, 1941 , moved to Southern California after their marriage, and lived in the same home in Lakewood, Calif., for 56 years.
Donna is survived by: her son, John Clapsaddle (Chris); grandson, John; granddaughter, Michelle (Clapsaddle) Oard (Jeff); great-granddaughter, Alicia (Oard) Cox (Chris); her daughter, Patricia (Clapsaddle) Van Otterloo (Alvin); grandsons, Todd Van Otterloo (Mary, Ryan Van Otterloo (Jenna); great-grandchildren, Alex, Kelley, and Jack; her step-grandchildren, Lindsey Sibley (Lance, children Addison and Jake, and Brett Wilson (Lindsey) and daughter, Brynn.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Nov. 24 at The Cedars in McPherson, 1021 Cedar Drive in the Wellness Center Auditorium Il.
