An event Saturday in Salina will shine light on lung cancer.
The Shine A Light on Lung Cancer educational event is scheduled for 10 a.m.-noon at the Central Mall, 2259 South Ninth Street.
According to information from the Tammy Walker Cancer Center, there will be a cookie decorating activity and health education booths about lung cancer prevention topics.
This free event is being put on by the Kansas Cancer Partnership-North Central Regional Coalition, Tammy Walker Cancer Center, and CKF Addiction Treatment-Tobacco Use Prevention Coalition.
