Four-wheeler, log splitter stolen from southeastern Saline County farmstead

A rural Gypsum man is missing $1,900 worth of property after someone stole it from the farmstead on which he was storing it.


Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said Tuesday that sometime between 8 a.m. Thursday and 9 a.m Friday, someone entered an old farmstead in the 7200 block of South Whitmore Road and stole from an open-front shed the following items.


  • A 2006 red Honda 90cc four-wheeler valued at $1,200
  • An unknown make, green with yellow wedge log splitter with a Briggs & Stratton gas engine valued at $700
