With the Veterans Day holiday on Monday, a number of local governmental offices and facilities will be closed.
The City of Salina offices will be closed on Monday. Staff will return Tuesday. There also will be no Salina City Commission meeting on Monday due to the holiday observance.
The landfill and sanitation collection crews will maintain their regular schedules on Monday, however, the Household Hazardous Waste, Salina Drive-thru Recycling Center, and General Services facilities will be closed. All standard hours of operation will resume Tuesday.
The Salina Public Library also is scheduled to be closed on Monday. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday. Additionally, Saline County offices and facilities will be closed on Monday in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.
