A Century of Tradition and Fun in Abilene, Kansas

For 100 years, the Central Kansas Free Fair has been a cherished annual tradition in the heart of Abilene, Kansas, bringing together communities and families across the region. From July 27 to August 4, 2024, the fairgrounds in Abilene will come alive with an exciting atmosphere, offering diverse entertainment and activities for everyone to enjoy.

Central Kansas Free Fair Parade

Kick off the celebrations with a spectacular parade that showcases the rich history and vibrant culture of Abilene and Central Kansas. 

This year, the parade will be on Tuesday, July 30, at 4 p.m.

Dickinson County is in an Excessive Heat Watch through Thursday.

Exhibits

Carnival Rides

Experience thrilling rides and games to make you feel like a kid again. The Carnival is open Tuesday, July 30 - Saturday, August 3, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, August 4, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Armbands are $30 per night, and $20 on Sunday only,
