SALINA - Larry Samuel Kenisonpassed away peacefully December 24, 2020. He was 81 years old. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Judy (Batcheller); daughter, Jody Daily and husband Jeff; son, Tracy Kenison; grandchildren, Josh Daily, Zach Daily, Cooper Daily, and Katie Kenison; as well as his brother, AG Kenison. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Asa and Mae Kenison; brother, Leroy; and a son, Randall B. Kenison.
Larry was born on September 13, 1939 in New Cambria and was a graduate of Salina High School, class of 1958. Larry joined the Salina Fire Department in 1960 where he retired after 26 years in 1986, was a reserve member of the Air Force, a member of Trinity Methodist Church, as well as a member of The Salina Bass Club. In his later years he was manager of VIP Cleaners for 14 years. Larry enjoyed attending all his grandchildren's activities and sporting events, bass fishing, as well as carpentry and remodeling work.
A private burial will be held at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
