A Salina man was arrested after multiple witnesses reported an incident that occurred within an neighborhood.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on July 25 at about 9:00 pm, officers were dispatched to a northeast Salina home for the report of a domestic disturbance.
Reportedly, multiple witnesses told police that a male and a female got into an argument in the neighborhood.
It was reported that the female (19) had a baby in a carrier, and the male attempted to forcefully take the baby and drag the female into a residence.
Both were acquainted.
Officers arrived to the scene and arrested the male suspect identified as Steven Tyson (26) of Salina.
He was booked into the Saline County Jail in reference to Kidnapping, Domestic battery and Endangering a child.
