The drivers involved in a two-vehicle collision in west Salina Monday morning both told police that they had a green light.

Carla Garcia, 31, of Salina, was northbound on Centennial Road in a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse and Bryce Vannoy, 24, of Salina, was westbound on W. Crawford Street in a 2002 Ford Escape when the two vehicles collided at the intersection, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning. The accident occurred at approximately 6:35 a.m. Monday.

The Traverse sustained major front-end damage and the Escape had major driver's side damage, Forrester said. Both were towed from the scene.

Garcia was cited for having no driver's license, Forrester said.
