A Salina woman received medical attention after falling out of a vehicle, when trying to get her phone back from a suspect who stole it.

According to the Salina Police Department on Friday, May 23rd a 26-year old female and a 26-year old male by the name of Brady Hawk, got into a domestic argument on 500 E. Ellsworth Ave.

During the argument, the woman reported that Hawk forcibly grabbed her phone from her hand. When she tried to get it back, Hawk left the house and got into his vehicle to drive away. As he was driving away with the windows down, the woman dove into the vehicle through the window with her body partially hanging out.

Hawk continued to drive further and the woman eventually fell off the vehicle. He then stopped and the woman was able to get her phone back without any restraint.

Afterwards, the woman called police about the incident and Hawk was still in the area when officers arrived. Hawk was then arrested for aggravated battery and robbery.

The woman received medical treatment for her injuries she suffered on her leg.
