Sharon Elaine Rosalez
Sharon Elaine Rosalez 82 of Enterprises left her earthly life Wednesday May 22 at her home in Enterprise. Sharon was the daughter of Woodrow W. Sigg and Leona (Welch) Sigg and was born at the family farm south of Chapman March 8th 1942.
Sharon attended local schools and after graduation began working and raising family. Sharon was well known in the community as a dedicated employee of West’s Country Mart having completed a shift just days prior to her passing and worked for the West’s for over 24 years. Sharon also worked for many years for Everett’s as well as owning her own business in Abilene. Sharon was considered by many of her co-workers as a bonus mother or grandmother.
Sharon is survived by her daughter Kim Decker and husband Tom of Enterprise, her sons Duane Hacker and Gabriel Rosalez Jr. and Wife Joetta both of Abilene. Sharon is also survived by her sisters Patricia (Sigg) Allison of Colorado Springs Colorado, and Onalea (Sigg) Dicks of Abilene and Darlene (Sigg) Coleman of Abilene. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and Husband Gabriel Rosalez and brother William Sigg. One of Sharon’s greatest joys was being able to play an active roll in her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren’s lives.
A visitation will be held Tuesday May 28th 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.at the Martin Becker Carlson Funeral Home 414 NW 3rd. Honoring Sharon’s wishes there will not be a formal funeral service.
