A Salina man was arrested on Saturday after he attempted to assault employees and patrons at a grocery store in Salina.
On October 14 at approximately 11:50 a.m., Salina Police officers responded to a disturbance at Dillon's located at 1201 W. Crawford. Alberto Garcia, a 42-year-old resident of Salina, was allegedly involved in an altercation where he attempted to assault both employees and patrons.
Officers arrested Garcia, but he resisted arrest, leading to the use of a body wrap to subdue him. During the incident, Alberto also made threats to one of the officers, stating his intent to kill them.
Alberto Garcia faces charges of criminal threat, disorderly conduct, and interference with a law enforcement officer.
