Sandra “Sandy” Schwab, 66, of Clifton, Kansas died Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at the Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka. She was born on June 11, 1956 in Snyder, Texas the daughter of William and Eva (Sallman) Schwab.
Sandy grew up in Morganville, Kansas and graduated from CCCHS in 1974. She received her LPN at Beloit, Kansas and then graduated from Washburn University with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Sandy worked at Stormont-Vail, as a home health nurse in the Wamego area, Community Care, Inc. in Clifton and retired from Park Villa Nursing Home in Clyde in 2022. She was a member of the Faith United Church Presbyterian and the Clifton American Legion Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by father and brother, Jason Schwab.
She is survived by her mother, Eva Schwab of Clifton, Kansas; sister, Penny McDonald of Mansfield, Texas; 2 grandchildren, Kade Fyler and Abby Davidson; 2 great grandchildren, Cruse and Knox Ramsey and companion, Mike Knox of Clifton, Kansas.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Faith United Church Presbyterian in Clifton, Kansas.
A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be held from 9:30AM until service time on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Faith United Church Presbyterian.
Memorials may be made to the Park Villa Nursing Home or Faith United Church Presbyterian and can be sent c/o funeral home.
