Farm house in rural Saline County, valued at around $10,000 was destroyed after a fire.

According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office on Saturday, September 20 at around 3:00 am, deputies and Rural Fire District (RFD) 3, were dispatched to an unoccupied farm house that was on fire in the 4000 block of N. Brookville Rd.

RFD 3 quickly extinguished the fire, but the farm house was completely consumed. Total loss was valued between $10,000 - $15,000.

The owner of the home, nor anyone was inside when the fire occurred.

The cause of fire is unknown at this time, but was possibly electrical related.
