The Boys & Girls Clubs of Salina (BGCS) has announced they are officially hiring Vision Leaders and accepting AmeriCorps applicants for their brand new site at Oakdale Elementary in Salina.
According to BGCS Vision Leaders will work approximately 15 hours per week, helping guide and mentor youth through engaging, meaningful programs focused on Academic Success, Character & Leadership, Health & Well-Being, and Life & Workforce Readiness.
AmeriCorps members will serve approximately 25 hours per week supporting programs in the priority areas of education and youth development and mentoring.
“This is an incredible opportunity for anyone passionate about working with youth,” shared Site Director Heather Neuhofel-Tracy. “It’s a great way to begin a journey in youth development or education—and a fun, rewarding second job for those already in the field.”
Both positions offer a rewarding opportunity to help shape the future of young people in Salina while gaining valuable professional experience.
