A Salina woman was injured in a two-vehicle wreck in south Salina Monday morning.
Benjamin Vincente-Vasquez, 30, Salina, was eastbound on Ralph Avenue in a 2008 Mercury Mariner when he failed to yield at the intersection and collided with a 2013 Ford Escape that was northbound on Norton Street, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning. The Escape was driven by Gloria Johnson, 32, Salina.
The collision occurred at approximately 7:05 a.m. Monday.
Johnson suffered neck pain and was transported by EMS to Salina Regional Health Center, Forrester said.
The Mariner sustained heavy front-end damage and the Escape sustained front-end damage. Both were towed from the scene.
